Billy Patterson is general manager of Advance Integrity Solutions, Inc. He has 20 years NDE/NDT, API, and Advanced Ultrasonic Inspection field for Team, MQS, & XRI. Billy Patterson loves what he does and believes that he can offer advanced services such as phased array & time of flight diffraction as an alternative to conventional RT, at prices competitive with conventional RT, but without the inherent risks associated with radiation. This makes it easier to work with customers to fulfill their inspection needs in a cost efficient & timely manner!

 

In 2007 Billy Patterson was honored with the Best Branch award by Team Industrial Services for increasing sales at that branch from $3MM to $10MM. Billy also received a promotion from Branch Manager to Regional Manager.

 

In 2008 Billy Patterson was honored with the Most Improved Branch award by Team Industrial Services after he accepted the Regional Managers position at the end of 2007 and taking that office from a deficit in operating income with 120 employees to a profitable branch with 200+ employees.

 

Billy Patterson has 20 years of management, sales, & field experience. With strengths such as ambition, diligence, and a willingness to learn & utilize new technology, building AIS seemed to be the next logical step.

David Vollert

David Vollert is the Advanced Projects Consultant for Advance Integrity Solutions, Inc. He has over 9 years of experience designing and utilizing advanced ultrasonic inspections for the refining and petrochemical industry.

 

He began his inspection career with the late John McMillan and worked on many different projects all over the world both performing and teaching advanced ultrasonic inspections. David was a factor in the development of a high temperature (700° F) automated ultrasonic inspection system which he used successfully to monitor thermal fatigue cracks for bp. He has worked on many projects with outside engineering firms such as Stress Engineering and Jacobs Engineering, as well as the Edison Welding Institute in Columbus, OH. David has designed specific ultrasonic inspection techniques such as the use of Phased Arrays for flange-face degradation and using Phased Arrays for the inspection of multi-layered vessel welds.

 

David’s background includes training from Mark Davis at the University of Ultrasonics in Birmingham, AL; Advanced Phased Array and TOFD training from Lavender International, based in the U. K.; as well as other courses such as API 571 for damage mechanisms.

 

He first received the API QUTE qualification in 2003 and has since re-certified until 2012. David lives in Huffman, TX with his wife Rachele and can be reached at dave@2aisusa.com.
